D23: Room 1-20 The Temple of the Leaping Oracle; Western Rogue's Chute

 This level of the dungeon has four hidden passages that dungeoneers call Rogue Chutes. These rogue chutes offer the party an alternate route through the dungeon and a mechanism to bypass some of the rooms on this level.

Western Rogue's Chute

Ancient Marianans incorporated essential halls into the architecture of state buildings as a means of allowing attendants to move about the building without interfering with the lord or their guests.

Design

Shaped from structural Coral, This dark five-foot-wide corridor is lined with stylized Aquan runes
woven across the surfaces inside. "ōng gêngqi - Walk the Path"

Entries

For clarity, the Entries to this corridor are numbered North to South.

Door One  

Strong Coral Panel (Hardness 15; 30 hp) that leads into the Northwest Parapet

Door Two  

Strong Coral Panel (Hardness 15; 30 hp) that opens into the Acolyte's Study

Door Three  

Strong Coral Panel (Hardness 15; 30 hp) that leads into the Watch Pantry

Door Four  

A collapsed section of the coral wall opens to the outside world; the hole opens above a 10ft trench A DC 15 Climb allows the character to climb inside

Door Five  

Strong Coral Panel (Hardness 15; 30 hp) that opens into the Privy
