Adapted from Extrasensory Perception- Superpower Wiki
Lately, I have been exploring various realms of genre fiction and wondering if there is a way to combine them in a tabletop experience. This means figuring out a way to balance unrelated effects against each other. I love Mutants and Masterminds for its ability to describe almost any character ability you can think of, so I am experimenting with M&M’s tools to work on ways to fold multiple genres together.
Extrasensory Perception
The power to possess a sixth sense. Variation of Enhanced Senses.
Capabilities
Users possess extrasensory perception; essentially a sixth sense that allows them to acquire information by means independent of any of their known senses or previous experience. This applies to any and all kinds of information, knowledge, wisdom, experience, etc. Information can be either personal (memories, thoughts, etc.) or impersonal (academic knowledge, data, etc.). This ability can be used passively (as an instinctual reaction) or actively (by wanting to know specific information).
The most common applications of extrasensory perception include detecting the presence of ghosts, spirits and other otherworldly beings, reading the memories, thoughts or emotions of people and objects, perceiving events throughout the past, present or future, or any other forms of gathering elusive information about the surroundings through unnatural means.
Applications
Detection- The ability to sense the presence of anything in one's vicinity.
