A Name in the Ledger; Accord Recognition

This boon reflects a Liked-tier reward within the Celestial Accord faction–the first step beyond mere acceptance, opening doors to meaningful support, minor privileges, and highly visible status for adventurers whose deeds uphold Order. Among the Accord, recognition is more than a gesture—it is a ledger entry, an imprimatur, a ceremonial acknowledgment broadcast to every scanner and soul from Logos to the Rim. To be granted Accord Recognition is to move in the world with an invisible shield: doors open, forms clear, and weapons remain holstered—for such is the Accord’s faith in law-abiding virtue.

Veteran explorers, upstanding traders, and “outside specialists” savor the keen edge of this status; so long as their names remain untarnished, all the mundane hazards of bureaucracy fade away. Yet this trust is not without end. The Accord records every deed, good or ill, and trust spent too cheaply is soon revoked. Earn your entry in the White Ledger, and the Accord will smooth your journey—at least until you falter.

The Accord Recognition Boon rewards characters who maintain Liked-tier reputation (5–14 Accord Favor) with the Celestial Accord. It provides party members with tangible advantages—access to regulated services, expedited security, and status as trusted associates—intended to reinforce the campaign value of lawful deeds and loyalty. As with all Starfall reputation boons, this is presented as a stat block, with usage notes and narrative framing for seamless table integration.

Accord Recognition Boon

Faction: Chronologists Guild

Reputation Tier: Liked (5 to 1 4 Favor)

Cost: 8 Favor

Effect: You gain official status as a junior (or associate) member of the Celestial Accord. Benefits include:

  • Issuance of an accord Title.

  • Access to basic Accord libraries, research forums, and public archives.

  • Welcome to Celestial Accord Temples and safe houses across Starfall Galaxy.

  •  Spending Favor does not cause your standing with the Celestial Accord to drop below Liked.

Special: Abusing Accord privileges, acting in ways contrary to the Mandate, or repeatedly seeking waivers for problematic behavior will result in loss of the boon and a reputation downgrade.

This boon is foundational for Accord-based campaigns, making lawful play feel rewarding and visible. It establishes a template for narrative recognition and positional privilege, carried forward in advanced Accord boons and tied to the consequences of losing standing for betrayal or gross misconduct.
