The commissioning ceremony involves mentorship review and endorsement by the local Guild council, after which the apprentice gains professional rank, advanced privileges, and permission to lead their own missions, research projects, or fieldwork—always in support of their patron’s legacy.
At Revered reputation, the Guild grants its most trusted members the right to shape Guild history through leadership and mentorship. “Commissioning Authority” allows the player to permanently elevate their apprentice to the Expert tier (CR4–8), making them a true partner and recognized Guild professional in ongoing campaign play.

Can be further promoted, retrained, or modified via story, campaign arc, or additional Guild boons.
