The Gift of Accord’s Light; Minor Celestial Blessing

To invoke the Minor Celestial Blessing is to trust one’s fate—not to faith alone, but to the Accord’s order and ritual. With the right words, a stamped request, and a flash of the Accord seal, the world’s suffering may be met with a flicker of white mana: wounds cleansed, ills banished, mysteries unveiled. But all magic in the Accord is measured, witnessed, and meticulously cataloged—no miracle is given without balance.

Seek the Accord’s blessing, and you will receive what is just and fair. Waste it, and even the stars may judge.

The Minor Celestial Blessing boon is a Liked tier privilege, available to Accord members and allies with 5–14 Favor. This boon allows the character to formally request an Accord-sanctioned ritualist or spellcaster to cast a level 1 or 2 spell. The service is tightly regulated and must comply with Accord law, typical material costs, and schedule availability, reflecting the Accord’s lawful culture and strict oversight of magical power.

Effect:  You may request the casting of a single level 1 or 2 spell by an Accord spellcaster at an official facility, shrine, or administrative hub. Permitted spells include common and minor restorative effects, detection, blessings, wards, purges, or utility spells, subject to GM approval and Accord protocols. The spell is performed under visible, accountable ritual, with a transcript logged and a receipt issued. You must present a reasonable justification for the desired service. Most requests are processed within 1–4 hours.

Special: Repeat or questionable requests can result in increased scrutiny or additional costs. Abusing the privilege, attempting illegal magic, or manipulating Accord ritualists results in loss of the boon and possible loss of favor.

This boon is crucial for lawful, resourceful play—reinforcing the Accord’s reputation-based access to reliable, predictable magic, while setting up story threads for characters who seek more from the Accord’s sacred bureaucracy.
