Operative's Specialization: Defining the Blade

In the Starfall Galaxy, an "Operative" is a broad term for anyone who solves problems with precision rather than volume. However, the Specialization determines how they solve those problems. This choice often dictates which Guilds will hire them,

which bounties they can claim, and how long they survive in the lawless Frontier.

Operatives usually train in specific "Schools" or "Traditions" passed down through criminal syndicates, military black-ops programs, or ancient duelists' circles.

Specialization Feature

Source Player Core pg. 128

As an operative, you have a particular set of skills based on your tactical style. These different specializations help define your character and the approach you take to most situations. Choose an operative's specialization. This specialization grants you training in one skill, a skill feat for that skill, and an exploit. At 9th level, you gain the enhanced exploit granted by your specialization.

Specializations

The Ghost: Ghosts don't just hide in shadows; they hide in the cognitive blind spots of their enemies.

The Skirmisher: Masters of "kinetic negotiation." Skirmishers thrive in the cramped corridors of space stations and the vertical sprawls of Inner Sphere megacities.

The Sniper: Snipers in Starfall are often solitary hunters who treat their rifles as extensions of their own nervous systems, sometimes integrating cybernetics to calculate wind shear and Rift-distortion across kilometers.

The Striker: While others rely on guns, Strikers are living weapons. They specialize in close-quarters takedowns, using unarmed strikes or mono-filament blades to dismantle enemies with surgical brutality.
