Ob Fax has blockaded a Mandragora in this room; he has negotiated for small animals to be brought down with the changing of the guard, which he uses to feed the creature. Ob Fax harvests venom from the Mandragora during these feedings. Ob Fax had missed the last feeding, and the Mandragora is viciously hungry.
