This legendary artifact resembles an elaborate nautical compass, set in a polished wooden frame about 9 inches wide. Shallow golden receptacles ring the compass, allowing fragments of Nix to be clamped into place.
The compass is attracted to the Fallen Star. When the compass is discovered, a fragment of the Fallen Star is already in one of the receptacles. As more fragments are added, the compass gains additional powers
Each Star Fragment raises the Astral Compasses Artifact level by 1

Usage Installed in the Astral Compass Bulk -
This fragment of nix crystal resembles a shard of the night sky with glistening blue stars suspended inside.
With the Fragment of Arcane Resonance installed and an Interact Action, the Astral Compass can cast the Detect Magic Cantrip at its current Item Level.
Fragment of Astral Alignment

This fragment of nix crystal resembles a shard of the night sky with glistening white stars suspended inside.
With the Fragment of Astral Alignment installed and an Interact action, the Astral Compass can cast the Detect Devotion Spell at its current Item Level.
