Marching From The Fallen Star; Necrotic Fungus

 The Necrotic Fungus manifests as a twisted growth of slimy brown mounds, reaching a height of about four and a half feet. Lacking sentience, it operates solely on instinct and the influence of its natural environment. Attuned to the subtlest movements in the earth, the Necrotic Fungus detects minute vibrations, granting it heightened awareness and eerie precision in navigating its surroundings.

Driven by primal impulses, the Necrotic Fungus displays an inherent athleticism, despite its slow movements. It moves with a grace and purpose reminiscent of the stealthy and predatory creatures that inhabit the natural world. Its malevolent tendrils, channeling negative energy, become its deadly weapons, striking out at its unsuspecting prey. Each successful strike saps its victim's life force, inflicting damage imbued with the essence of decay.

When the Necrotic Fungus meets its demise, it releases a burst of toxic spores into the air, a final act of defense. Beware the foul essence and toxic capabilities of the Necrotic Fungus, for they can swiftly bring decay and ruin to all who encounter it.

Critical Failure The creature takes 2d10 poison damage and becomes sickened 1.

(one-action) Melee tentacle +6 (reach 10 feet), Damage 1d4+2 negative energy

(Two-Actions) Draining Rot: The fungus launches a relentless onslaught, lasing out with both of its tentacles in a single attack. Victims suffer physical harm and experience the draining effect of the fungus's essence. The deathly essence of the necrotic fungus erodes their life force and plants an insidious and rotting spore. 

The Necrotic Fungus launches a Double action delivering two successive strikes to a single target.  If both hit, the creature gains the drained 1 condition, and 1 persistent poison damage.
