Adapted from Starfinder 2e Playtest
The Pathfinder 2e Gamemastery Guide is among the most useful resources I have in my collection. A large portion of the guide is given over for NPC Statblocks. What you will find below is a conversion of the commoner NPC to fit in a Starfinder 2e Stellar Marches Campaign. For this NPC, I applied a Ployglot Android to the Commoner template. I have changed out their gear to fit a science fantasy setting.
Cross-cultural interactions are fairly common among space-based societies. The risks of debilitating social missteps and catastrophic linguistic misunderstanding can be considered very seriously. Technological innovations can help to smooth these risks over, but raw translation tools miss many of the subtleties of language and social interactions. Mediators/Translators form a professional field to meet the needs of interstellar companies, governments, and organizations.
