Your body quickly bounces back from afflictions. You regain twice as many Hit Points from resting. Each time you succeed at a Fortitude save against an ongoing disease or poison, you reduce its stage by 2, or by 1 against a virulent disease or poison. Each critical success you achieve against an ongoing disease or poison reduces its stage by 3, or by 2 against a virulent disease or poison. In addition, you reduce the severity of your drained condition by 2 when you rest for a night instead of by 1.

Adventuring With Fast Recovery

  • Plague in the City: A virulent disease has broken out in a major city. The character's resilience makes them uniquely suited to venture into the quarantined zones, collect samples, and seek a cure. Their Fast Recovery helps them withstand the disease's effects and recover quickly from any close encounters.

  • Exploration of Toxic Ruins: Ancient ruins rumored to be filled with traps, poisons, and lingering curses have been discovered. The characters' enhanced Fortitude saves and rapid recovery make them ideal for navigating these hazardous locations and retrieving valuable artifacts.

  • Hunting a Cursed Creature: A powerful creature with a draining touch or poisonous attacks is terrorizing the countryside. The character's ability to quickly recover from drained conditions and resist poisons makes them the perfect hunter to track and defeat this beast.

  • Escorting a Vulnerable Party: A group of important individuals needs to travel through dangerous territory known for its harsh conditions and disease outbreaks. The character's Fast Recovery ensures they can protect the group and keep them safe from harm, even when facing constant threats.
