Barathu Lore Feat 1
From your upbringing, you’ve learned the ways of your people while also seeking to expand your mind in the fields of creation. You gain the trained proficiency rank in Crafting and Medicine. If you would automatically become trained in one of those skills (from your background or class, for example), you instead become trained in a skill of your choice.
You also gain the Additional Lore general feat for Barathu Lore.
Adventuring With Barathu Lore
Creation & Innovation: An inventor or researcher needs assistance with a complex project requiring scientific and cultural knowledge. The Barathu's proficiency in Crafting and Medicine, alongside their lore, would be invaluable.
Medical Mystery: A strange disease or ailment affects a community or even another Barathu. The character's medical expertise is sought to diagnose and find a cure, potentially involving delving into Barathu history or biology.
Lore Retrieval: A lost piece of Barathu history, technology, or cultural knowledge must be found. The Additional Lore feat grants the character special access to knowledge that might be crucial to this quest.
Cultural Diplomacy: A situation requires someone with deep knowledge of Barathu culture to act as a mediator or ambassador. The Barathu character could play a vital role in negotiations or understanding.
Exploration of Origins: Rumors surface about the origins of the Barathu or a lost colony. The character might feel compelled to investigate, using their lore to uncover secrets and potentially connect with lost relatives or knowledge.
