You can synthesize beneficial remedies within your own body and immediately digest them. You create one elixir, potion, or serum you know the formula for with a level equal to your level or lower. You don’t pay any cost to create this item. You immediately consume and digest this item, Activating it as a free action with the concentrate trait rather than its usual activation method.


Adventuring With Synthesized Medicine

  1. Medical Mystery: A unique plague or illness is spreading that conventional medicine cannot cure. The Barathu, with their ability to synthesize remedies, is sought after to create a specialized cure using unusual or alien ingredients. They must travel to dangerous locales to gather these materials.

  2. Gene Therapy Experiment: A corporation or research group wants to study the Barathu's unique ability to synthesize medicine. They offer resources and information in exchange for participation in a gene therapy experiment. This could lead to ethical dilemmas and potential exploitation.

  3. Lost Formula Retrieval: A rare and powerful formula for a serum has been lost or stolen. The Barathu's unique ability to create items without cost makes them the ideal candidate to replicate it. They are hired or tasked with finding the formula and synthesizing the serum.
