Tentacle Whip Feat 1

You grow a tentacle that can lash out like a whip. You gain a tentacle unarmed attack that deals 1d6 bludgeoning damage. Your tentacle is in the brawling weapon group and has the barathu, finesse, reach, and unarmed traits.

Adventuring With Tentacle Whip

  1. Ancient Barathu Artifact Recovery: The Barathu character is tasked by their kin to locate and recover an ancient artifact of great significance to their species. This artifact could be hidden in a dangerous, remote location or in the hands of a powerful collector. The tentacle whip would be useful for navigating treacherous terrain and combat.

  2. Investigating Aberrant Activity: A series of strange occurrences and disappearances are happening in a city or region. The Barathu, with their unique physiology and the tentacle whip, is asked to investigate, as it's suspected that aberrant creatures (possibly with ties to other Barathu) are involved. The finesse and reach of the whip would be beneficial in dealing with such creatures.

  3. Diplomatic Mission with a Twist: The Barathu is chosen as an envoy to a new, potentially hostile civilization due to their unique appearance and abilities. However, the mission takes an unexpected turn when they discover a hidden threat that requires both diplomacy and the use of their tentacle whip in combat.
