Out of Many; Amalgamation

 Adapted from Amalgamation- Superpower Wiki+

Lately, I have been exploring various realms of genre fiction and wondering if there is a way to combine them in a tabletop experience. This means figuring out a way to balance unrelated effects against each other. I love Mutants and Masterminds for its ability to describe almost any character ability you can think of, so I am experimenting with M&M’s tools to work on ways to fold multiple genres together.

Amalgamation

The power to form a mixture between existing creations.

Capabilities

The user can merge two or more separate objects into one, regardless of whether the objects are organic, inorganic, living, dead, technological, etc. They can decide which parts of the objects dominate the union, which is deleted and which merge. Unlike Hybrids, this does not guarantee in Hybridization, but it can technically qualify if one of the subjects is of a different species.

Applications

Gestalt Mind

The ability to possess a mind made up of other minds.
