To be Published is to have your contributions peer-reviewed, verified, and permanently indexed within the Cygnus Vault's primary servers. Your actions have been deemed logically consistent and beneficial to the Great Equation.
Upon achieving this status, you are no longer a mere footnote; your identity is etched into the Archive's living history. You are issued a unique chronometric signature—a permanent digital identifier that grants you a baseline level of access and trust across the entire Archivist network. While your contributions are still expected, your fundamental value is no longer in question. You have become a known quantity, a reliable node in the endless pursuit of knowledge.
Faction boons represent tangible rewards for building reputation. Archive Published is a Status boon available at the Liked tier, signifying a character's formal integration into the Azure Archivists' network. Its primary function is to establish a permanent reputation floor, allowing a character to spend Favor on other boons without risk of falling out of good standing with the faction. This makes it a critical investment for any character planning a long-term relationship with the Archive.

Reputation Tier: Liked (5 to 1 4 Favor)
Cost: 8 Favor
Effect: You become a privileged and formally recognized associate of the Azure Archive. Your status is now part of the permanent record, granting you a foundational level of trust. Spending Favor can no longer cause your standing with the Azure Archive to drop below the Liked tier (a minimum of 5 Favor).
Additional Benefits:
You are granted a Chronometric Signature, a permanent digital key that identifies you on the Archive's network. This allows you to access Liked-tier facilities and data-ports without requiring a new security check each time.
Your name is added to the list of contributors on any research or data collection you assisted with, granting you a minor academic profile within the faction.
Special: This boon is the prerequisite for higher-status positions within the Archive, such as Rector (via the Academic Advancement boon) and Senior Archivist (via the Technocrat Authority boon). If you commit a severe Anathema act, the Technocrat Authority can 'redacted' your Published status, temporarily suspending its benefits until atonement is made.
Archive Published is the significant first step toward securing a lasting and influential position within the Azure Archivists.
