The Discipline of the Accord; Celestial Training

To be offered Celestial Training is to be invited into the machinery of Order itself. It is not merely a series of drills; it is an indoctrination into the rhythm of the Accord. Candidates are pulled from the mud of the Frontier and placed in the pristine, geometric halls of training citadels. There, they learn that hesitation is chaos, and procedure is survival.

Whether training to be a relentless Peacekeeper enforcing the mandate, or a Logistics Savant mastering the flow of resources, the training is grueling, precise, and transformative. You emerge not just skilled, but aligned—your reflexes honed to serve the collective, your mind sharpened to categorize and control. The Accord does not give this training lightly; they are forging you into a living weapon of the Law.

Celestial Training Boon

Faction: Celestial Accord

Reputation Tier: Liked (5 to 1 4 Favor)

Cost: 10 Favor

Effect:  Upon gaining this boon, you may select a Dedication feat from a Celestial Accord–associated archetype (subject to GM approval, such as the Peacekeeper, Bureaucrat, or a specific Accord Justicar dedication). You gain this feat as a bonus feat. A character with this boon receives an extra class feat at 2nd level and every even level thereafter that they can use only for archetype feats.

As long as you remain in good standing with the Accord, you may retrain your archetype feats by reattending Accord courses (subject to GM discretion and downtime costs).

Special: If you change factions or lose Liked-tier reputation, you may temporarily lose access to Accord-sponsored archetype resources (such as research, teaching, or ritual participation) until you restore your standing.

Celestial Accord Archetypes

Envoy: You step up and lead others to victory while manipulating those who stand in your way.

Operative: You’re a professional with crack aim and lethal instincts.

Witchwarper: You can draw on the infinite possibilities of other universes and timelines to warp reality with powerful magic.

Special

  • Revocation: If you become Disliked or Hunted by the Accord, you lose access to Accord training facilities and instructors. You do not lose the feats you have already learned, but you cannot select new feats from this Free Archetype slot until you restore your standing (representing the cutting off of advanced lessons and resources).

  • Obligation: Characters with this boon are expected to answer the call for specific Accord missions. Refusing a direct request from your training officers may be considered a Disservice.

Adventure Hooks

  • The Final Exam: Your training officer assigns you a "live fire" exercise—bring in a dangerous fugitive alive, by the book, without causing collateral damage.

  • Conflict of Interest: You are ordered to use your new authority to seize cargo from a friend or ally, forcing you to choose between your training and your personal loyalties.

  • The Defector: A fellow trainee tries to leave the program with sensitive Accord codes. You must hunt them down using the very techniques you learned together.
