Marching From The Vault; Morlock Scavenger

 


The Second level of the vaults is occupied by a Morlock cult that has taken to worshiping the mistress of the dungeon. In pulling these adversaries into the marches, I intend to build options that would allow for Morlock PCs. 

The Morlocks of Memory are descended from enclaves of Halflings that became trapped in subterranean caverns during the Titanfall.

The Morlock scavenger is a lankier, smaller version of a typical morlock. Their stature allows them to wriggle into areas other morlocks can't access.

Scuttling Attack
  The morlock scavenger Strides twice, ignoring difficult terrain caused by natural cavern features like rubble or stalagmites. At any point during its movement, the morlock can make a melee Strike against an enemy in its reach.

Sneak Attack The morlock deals an extra 1d6 precision damage to flat-footed creatures.

Swarming Stance A morlock can share the same space as another morlock, but no more than two morlocks can occupy the same space. When morlocks share the same space, they gain a +1 circumstance bonus to attack rolls.


Variant Load-outs

Scavengers occupy the lowest rung in Morlock society they don’t have a standard loadout; They use any simple weapon they can get their hands on.

Ranged  Club +9 (+5/0)(Range Increment 10ft), Damage 1d6+2 bludgeoning

Melee  Light Mace +9 (+5/+1) (Agile, Finesse, Shove.), Damage 1d4+2 bludgeoning

Melee  Longspear +7 (+2/-3) (Reach), Damage 1d8+2 Piercing

Melee  Mace +7 (+2/-3) (Shove), Damage 1d6+2 Bludgeoning

Melee  Sickle +9 (+5/+1) (Agile, Finesse, Trip), Damage 1d4+2 Slashing

Melee  Spear +7 (+2/-3) (Reach), Damage 1d6+2 Piercing

Ranged  Spear +9 (+5/0)(Range Increment 20ft), Damage 1d6+2 bludgeoning


Morlock Machines

Morlock engineers are talented at figuring out ancient machinery or damaged constructs but don't keep notes or record their techniques. As a result, a Morlock enclave might well be defended by strange, ancient mechanical hazards or constructs that treat Morlocks as allies, even though none of the Morlocks can say who built the machines they use.
