Marching from the Vaults; Loliba Mill

 Adapted From Pathfinderwiki- Otari

Loliba’s tides power the Loliba Mill. Much of the lumberyard’s income comes from the town’s two larger lumber families, who pay to have their lumber processed here. The mill is noisy, with its constant grinding and churning competing with the whine of the saws and the clatter of the loading ramp.

The Bruva family leaves the day-to-day administration of the mill to a heavily scarred half-orc foreman named Khelo Raim. In his youth, Khelo made a name for himself in Arann’s gladiatorial arena by fighting with paired hatchets and picked up the moniker “the Lumberjacker.” Khelo has put that violent past behind him and fails to see any ironic humor in the fact that honest-to-goodness lumberjacks now employ him.

If the heroes earn the support of the Giant’s Wheel, Khelo allows them to Earn Income using Survival by patrolling the flume’s length. If you choose, encounters with local wildlife might liven up a shift of flume-walking. If Khelo warms to the heroes, he might even gift them one of his old +1 hatchets.

Lumberyard: The lumber mill has a sprawling lumberyard where stacks of various types of wood are neatly arranged. From oak to cedar, the lumberyard is a treasure trove for craftsmen seeking quality wood for their projects.

Waterwheels: The waterwheels, powered by a nearby water source, provide the necessary energy to run the saws and other machinery. The sight of the waterwheels turning symbolizes Loliba's economic prosperity.

Shipping Facilities: Adjacent to the lumber mill, a dedicated area serves as a loading and unloading spot for timber shipments. Caravans arrive with logs, and ships dock to transport the processed lumber to various destinations.
