When the spell triggers, the shooter feels a brief déjà vu stutter—the recoil repeats, the muzzle flash doubles—and the missed round “slides” onto a nearby timeline where it hit, rewriting the outcome so the target takes the damage after all.
To outside observers, nothing seems to change except that a supposedly safe enemy suddenly staggers from a wound that “shouldn’t” exist, leaving investigators with ballistic evidence that insists the shot was perfect.
On ships and stations, regulators watch this kind of magic carefully; sanctioned Chronologist marksmen may use it to protect convoys, while Syndicate gunmages use it to make sure no high‑value target escapes on a lucky dodge.

Trigger You fail (but not critically fail) an attack roll with a weapon.
You rewind time and adjust probability to ensure an attack that just missed still does damage to its intended target. Roll damage as though you hit the target with the Strike, but the target only takes half the damage. The Target is then immune to temporal bullets for 10 minutes.
Devotion and themes
Blue Devotion: treats the spell as error correction, editing the timeline so probability behaves “properly.”
Black Devotion: frames it as ruthless inevitability—if you were marked, the universe will be bent until the bullet finds you.
Red Devotion: shows up in hot‑headed gunslingers who refuse to accept that they can miss when it matters.
