Geography

Formed from the most fertile lands of the ancient Abel People, The Bezo Barony commands Ravia’s most valuable coast.

Fertile Delta

 Bezo boasts fertile soil, built up by three Ravian river systems that empty off of Bezo’s coast, ideal for agriculture and supporting numerous farms and villages. This area is the economic engine of the barony, supplying food and resources to other regions.

Misty Swamps

The southern border is marked by vast, mist-shrouded swamps inhabited by reclusive communities who have adapted to life in this challenging environment. They are known for their unique customs and mastery of swamp survival skills.

Muriziaria 

population 65o0, Murizara is a bustling port city located at the mouth of the Erast River on Ravia's Eastern Coast. It is one of the most important trade hubs in Aria. The city is known for its beautiful harbor, skilled artisans, and lively markets.

A sprawling marketplace showcasing goods from across Aria and beyond, renowned for its variety and vibrant atmosphere.

Veiled Swamps

 It is a mysterious and treacherous region, home to unique flora and fauna and guarded by secretive swamp dwellers.

Society

Gereko 

Traditionally the Gereko are a nomadic people; in Aria, they settled on the ruins of their Able ancestors.  Embracing the rediscovery of manacore constructs, The Gereko of Aria have almost completely given themselves over to industrializing manacore technology. At the most, two generations separated from their roots as nomadic clans, most of these citizens still maintain strong ties to their clan.

Langy 

Small, bipedal canine humanoids, the Langy have developed small enclave neighborhoods in most of the harbor cities along Ravia’s East Coast. The Langy are unwaveringly optimistic and always see the best in others, seeking redemption and forgiveness before violence.

Nearionor

The Elves of Ravia were the first people to repopulate Ravia’s eastern river basin after the fall of the Able. they live in scattered camps in the forests of Aria. With the refounding of the ancient Able cities that form the foundation of the Principality of Aria, the Nearionor find themselves squeezed into the region's shrinking forests. 

Orana

The Orana are diminutive, whimsical, and exuberant creatures from the fey realm. They love playing pranks, exploring new things, and embracing everything to do with magic. Orana troupes feel increasing pressure as the wild spaces of Aria become smaller and smaller.

Pograme

Pograme are a primarily nomadic human ethnic group known to favor the open road over permanent settlements. The people of the road are principally encountered traveling between Aria’s most populated cities, but some Pograme have settled in permanent communities in Gekobezo and Otza.

Ugluk the Orcs of Ravia

A few Orcish enclaves can be found in Northernmost Bezo; remnants of long-gone clans still form hearty hamlets spread between Eskizko and Urriedo.

Numerous small villages are Dotted throughout the plains, each with distinct character and traditions. These communities are heavily reliant on agriculture and maintain close ties to the land.

Swamp Dwellers

Various groups with unique cultures and traditions live in isolated settlements within the swamps. They are often shrouded in mystery and viewed with a mix of curiosity and apprehension by outsiders.

However, tensions occasionally simmer between different groups, particularly regarding resource allocation and representation within the baronial council.

General Theron Zarik- A skilled and battle-hardened warrior who leads the Bezo military forces. He respects and integrates traditional tactics with the new technological capabilities the rediscovered Aber artifacts offer, ensuring the barony's defense against potential threats.

Emissary Elara Gera'kan- A charismatic and well-traveled leader who represents the Gereko on the council and serves as an ambassador to the prince’s cabinet. She leverages her noble background and diplomatic skills to forge alliances and ensure that Gereko's voice is heard.

Magister Faeli Tricklight- A mischievous yet insightful individual with a natural talent for magic. They serve as the council's advisor on magical matters and offer unique perspectives due to their fey heritage. Despite their playful nature, they possess deep wisdom and can provide valuable insights during critical situations.

Treasurer Anya Techweaver- A brilliant engineer and innovator who oversees the barony's finances and manages the integration of Aber technology into the Bezo economy. She focuses on optimizing resource allocation and ensuring these powerful artifacts' responsible and sustainable use.

Viceroy Risha Windrider- A seasoned traveler and respected leader among the Pograme communities within Bezo. They act as a liaison between the nomadic communities and the council, ensuring their needs are represented and promoting cultural understanding within the barony.

Warden Javan Silverroad- A wise and experienced individual known for their knowledge of the barony's wilderness and its inhabitants. They serve as the warden, patrolling the borders and protecting the Bezo lands from external threats and internal disturbances.


Religion

Aria's most popular religion is worshiping the Seven Brass Gods; Lyrunne, Shadd, Kirri, Shunddar, Sklar, Oan, and Tamir. Worship of the patrons of the Holy Vault has become increasingly popular in Bezo’s harbor cities.
