Afflicted; Paralysis Inducement

Lately, I have been exploring various realms of genre fiction and wondering if there is a way to combine them in a tabletop experience. This means figuring out a way to balance unrelated effects against each other. I love Mutants and Masterminds for its ability to describe almost any character ability you can think of, so I am experimenting with M&M’s tools to work on ways to fold multiple genres together.

Capabilities

Users can immobilize the target completely or partially, causing them to be left without movement and sensation. Making motor functions and muscle movement unavailable, the victim may freeze on the spot or crumple to the ground.

Mechanic

Paralysis Inducement is an Affliction effect; it is worth 1 power points per level.

Stun Attack- The power to use one's powers to create stun attacks.

Quill carefully aims a projectile quill so that it interferes with the target's normal bodily function. Instead of causing raw damage, quills interrupt nerve transmission and block the function of their limbs. Ranged Cummulative Fortitude Affliction 6 (Hindered, Disabled, Paralyzed)
