The Merchant Princes of Zhaz are the unofficial rulers of Zhaz, the busiest and richest port town in the realm. They are a coalition of merchants who are driven by the acquisition of wealth and the power that wealth can provide. The pursuit and acquisition of wealth is its own end for them. They believe that the only real way to determine if something is good is by seeing how well it generates profits.

Zhazic vendors have access to every common item in Gedan, individuals with Ignored or lower reputations with the Merchant Princes pay a 10% surcharge for access to the Merchant Princes’ Suppliers.
Uncommon Merchant Prince Items
Uncanny Access 1st Loyalty Boon
Zhazic vendors have unfettered access to goods and services across Gedan Individuals with an Admired or higher reputation with the Merchant Princes can acquire any Uncommon Item on Gedan, and the Purchaser pays an additional 25% surcharge for access to the Merchant Princes’ Suppliers.

Allies of the Merchant Princes may request hired hands from the cartel. captains will commission hirelings to individuals with an Admired reputation. These Companions are expected to be provided a weekly stipend depicted on the table and generally expect a share of the spoils from a successful mission.

What the Merchant Princes know:
The Fallen Star is somewhere in dragon territory. Undoubtedly, the dragons will be looking for it as well. The Great Sea is the territory of Kufriv the Red - an ancient red dragon who prizes wealth above all else.
Kufriv and her brood of red dragons have been known to be reasonable…in particular, when vast sums of gold are at stake. She could be a potential ally, if handled correctly.
Enemies of the Merchant Princes
The Merchant Princes will expend greater resources to go after enemies based on how much venom those adversaries have earned. Disliked characters can expect up to Moderate encounters with Merchant Prince Patrols when they travel in faction territory. Hated characters can expect up to Severe encounters with Merchant Prince Patrols when they travel in faction territory. The Merchant Princes will pursue Hunted foes across the frontier with up to Extreme encounters with Faction soldiers or bounty hunters.
