Marching From The Fallen Star; Merchant Princes of Zhaz

 Adapted From- The Star Tide

Despite their ruthless pursuit of profit, the Merchant Princes are skilled diplomats and negotiators. They have a keen sense of the value of a good deal and are willing to make alliances and agreements when it suits them. They also have a reputation for being shrewd and clever in their business dealings, often using their wealth and influence to manipulate markets and governments to their advantage.

The Merchant Princes themselves are a diverse group of individuals, hailing from many different races and backgrounds. Some are born into wealthy families, while others have worked their way up from humble beginnings. They all share a love of money and a willingness to do whatever it takes to acquire it. Some are respected members of society, while others are feared and despised for their ruthless tactics and cutthroat business practices.

What the Merchant Princes know:

The Fallen Star is somewhere in dragon territory. Undoubtedly, the dragons will be looking for it as well. The Great Sea is the territory of Kufriv the Red - an ancient red dragon who prizes wealth above all else.

Kufriv and her brood of red dragons have been known to be reasonable…in particular, when vast sums of gold are at stake. She could be a potential ally, if handled correctly.

Enemies of the Merchant Princes

The Merchant Princes will expend greater resources to go after enemies based on how much venom those adversaries have earned. Disliked characters can expect up to Moderate encounters with Merchant Prince Patrols when they travel in faction territory.  Hated characters can expect up to Severe encounters with Merchant Prince Patrols when they travel in faction territory. The Merchant Princes will pursue Hunted foes across the frontier with up to Extreme encounters with Faction soldiers or bounty hunters.
